Two days before Christmas I raffled off a Smart TV as part of my fundraising for the World Race. A child named Sebastian, bought a ticket with his own allowance and in faith told everyone at church that he believed God would give him the TV. Despite the TV ultimately being won by another person, they felt led independently without prompting by God to generously give the TV to Sebastian. And I personally was able to deliver it and see the joy on the child’s face when he found out that God indeed did give him the TV after all. My favorite moment was that when I asked Sebastian what he would do with a TV of that size he told me that he was excited to “spend time with his sister and family watching movies.” The Christmas Spirit and selflessness of everyone involved in this story warms my heart and encourages me in faith.

Friends the Gospel is for everyone big and small, young and old alike. No one is exempt from being used by or hearing from God. Mark 10 says that anyone who doesn’t receive the kingdom of God like a child will not enter it. We are called to child like faith in our walk with Christ. There’s nothing more pure than the faith of a child. A popular missionary Heidi Baker in her book “Birthing the Miraculous,” says that she always gathers children around her when she wants to pray for breakthrough miracles. “Little children have the purest strongest faith and are willing to believe God will do anything.” (Heidi Baker) What would our lives begin to look like if we started believing what God says will come to pass? Matthew 17:20; says that if you have faith as small as a mustard seed you can move mountains. I want to start operating in that kind of radical faith.

Matthew 17:20
He replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”

Mark 10:13-16
People were bringing little children to Jesus for him to place his hands on them, but the disciples rebuked them. When Jesus saw this, he was indignant. He said to them, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.” And he took the children in his arms, placed his hands on them and blessed them.

Another Christmas miracle, is that I am officially 90% percent funded thanks to a couple of Santa’s helpers/God’s kingdom builders. I have roughly $1,700 left to raise by April and launch is in 12 days!!! I am blow away by what God has done in my fundraising journey! Supporters, you have truly captured the concept of giving till it hurts and supporting the kingdom of God. I am humbled by how much support emotionally, spiritually, and financially I have received. Thank you for sowing into the ministry we will be doing in Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia. And thank you for following my journey I’ll see you in Romania!

Love,

Jordyn
